At Soteria Kids, children can learn about God in a fun, engaging environment and build a firm foundation of faith. As they learn the truth of God’s word, children can develop an early understanding of God, Jesus, and the gospel.

Soteria Kids Programs
SUNDAYS · 9:30 & 11:00AM
Engaging children in the story of the gospel
During Soteria Kids, children ages 2 through 5th grade can participate in a fun, child-geared environment where they can learn the big-picture story of the gospel from beginning to end.
We do not offer Soteria Kids during our 8:00am service. However, your children are more than welcome to stay with you during any of our Sunday worship services. Parents must register their child to receive identification stickers for drop off and pick up.
WEDNESDAYS · 6:30 - 8:00PM
Helping children know what they believe and why
Each Wednesday night, children ages 3 through 5th grade can participate in Kids4Truth, learning about the Bible using 12 doctrinal themes from God’s Word. The cost is $15 per child, and includes a workbook, shirt, and other supplies.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register my child to participate?
All families can register their children immediately prior to Soteria Kids. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the service to ensure your child gets to their classroom on time!
- Enter Soteria through the front doors, stop at the connect desk, let a volunteer know you are a new. They will guide you to our Soteria Kids area where you can register your kids.
- Parents, you will need to enter your children’s personal information. Once that is done, you will receive a sticker and can drop off your child in their classroom.
What curriculum do you use?
For our Sunday morning kids’ classes, we use The Gospel Project.
For Wednesday evening classes, we use the Kids4Truth curriculum.
What safety policies and procedures do you have in place?
Here at Soteria, we take the safety and security of your children seriously. The following procedures have been implemented:
- Each children’s worker has had a thorough background check.
- Every child is required to check in and must be picked up by an adult with matching check in.
- Trained medical staff are on-call.
- We have a dedicated security team made up of current and former law enforcement officers in our building for all activities
- All classrooms are equipped with communications to contact the security team and health care professionals.
- Every lead teacher is a member of Soteria and has been attending for at least six months.
Do you perform background checks?
Yes, we perform background checks on all children’s workers and volunteers.
Do I have to be a member of Soteria to serve in the kids’ ministry?
No. We want every attending parent to progress toward membership, but membership is not required for helping with a class. We do ask that parents attend a Starting Point class prior to helping. Since a new Starting Point class is regularly available, you can attend the Starting Point and then sign up for serving slots when you have completed the class. All volunteers are required to undergo a background check, regardless of church membership status.
