Serving is a tangible way that we demonstrate the love of Christ, both within and outside our church walls.

Whatever your gifts, talents, or abilities, there is a place for you to serve at Soteria!

Hospitality Teams

Our Hospitality Teams help everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive. GREETERS are ready with a friendly hello and serve at the front doors and in the Worship Center. The WELCOME DESK TEAM provides information and assistance to guests. The PARKING LOT TEAM offers a warm welcome while directing traffic smoothly and safely before services.

Worship Arts Team

Use your gifts to lead others in worship and support our services behind the scenes. Join the AV/SLIDES TEAM (training provided), audition for the WORSHIP TEAM (vocals or instruments), or sing in the SOTERIA CHOIR. The PRODUCTION TEAM plays a key role in our livestream ministry by running cameras or sound. You can also serve on our PRAYER TEAM, available after each service to pray with and for our church family.

Soteria Kids’ Teams

This vibrant ministry reaches many children each week. On Wednesdays, volunteers serve in KIDS4TRUTH, helping teach Bible lessons, lead games, and provide support in a fun, structured environment. Join the NURSERY TEAM on Sundays or Wednesdays to care for the youngest members of our church—complete with plenty of giggles and smiles! On Sunday mornings, you can serve in SOTERIA KIDS’ CLASSES by teaching, assisting at tables, or helping lead worship. The SOTERIA KIDS’ GREETING TEAM helps families with check-in and offers a cheerful welcome. Each year, our biggest outreach events—Easter Extravaganza and Vacation Bible School—offer opportunities to serve through games, crafts, snacks, teaching, and more.

Soteria Student Ministries

Make a lasting impact by investing in the next generation. Serve as a leader in Jr. or Sr. High Small Groups, building relationships and guiding students in their faith. Or join the SWAT Team to help facilitate youth events, games, and special gatherings.

Church Life Teams

Our Church Life Teams help create meaningful connections within our church body. This includes the CHURCH EVENTS TEAM, which supports gatherings like our Fall Kick-Off, Flapjack Fellowship, All-Church BBQ, and Pie & Praise. The CARE TEAM steps in to support church members with practical needs such as moving assistance or transportation. The FUNERAL LUNCH TEAM serves lunch for family and friends following a funeral. Our MEALS CARE TEAM partners with growth groups to provide meals for new moms and families in need.

Facilities and Ground Teams

Help us care for the space God has given us. The FACILITIES TEAM takes care of minor maintenance needs like changing lightbulbs and small repairs. Join the MOWING TEAM to help maintain our church lawn on a rotating schedule, or serve on the LANDSCAPING AND WEEDING TEAM to keep our grounds clean and inviting.

Missions Teams

Join one of our Missions’ Teams to be part of how our church reaches beyond our walls to serve others locally and globally. Get involved with our OUTREACH TEAM, which leads and supports local missions efforts throughout the year. Serve with our FAM TEAM (Foster and Adoption Ministry) by helping stock and organize our FAM Closet, providing practical support to foster and adoptive families. Join the TOGETHER FOR GOOD TEAM to walk alongside these families through encouragement, care, and community. You can also serve in our SOTERIA BOOKSTORE, helping provide quality Christian resources to equip and encourage our church family.
